Perhaps if you don’t live in Oklahoma, you have yet to hear of this phenomenon called Rustic Cuff but believe us, you will. A fan of regifting, Jill Donovan, once Tulsa attorney and TU law professor, is the creator of this unique jewelry brand based on that concept. What started as a horrible experience on OPRAH led Jill to a new endeavor, the creative hobby of jewelry crafting, specifically cuffs. That beginning in a spare bedroom is now a business with stores in Tulsa and boutiques across the US as well as a booming mailorder trade. Read Jill’s story at http://www.rusticcuff.com.
Rustic Cuff is all about the stack…of bracelets. Bracelets have different names and styles, a glossary of their own. For example, a unicorn is a bracelet you really love and haven’t been able to find/buy. They run in price from $20 to $125. You can wear as many as you feel comfortable and on both arms as well as one. Most of the stacks featured here Mom found on Pinterest.
This one is for our Kentucky friends. She thought of them the moment she saw it.
These are some of Mom’s favorites because she loves the colors and combos. Rustic Cuff has two other one of a kind concepts: COTM (Cuff of the Month) you can sign up for this and automatically receive an unseen cuff that has been especially designed by Jill and the second is the Regifters Club, a club of compassion for one’s fellow man, in which two inspirational quote cuffs are received, one to keep and one to give away. This is Mom’s stack she put together with the Radley the cousins brought back from London.
This is another one which has two customized cuffs.
This is her other stack. Hmmmm, hers seem to have a theme. Get your stack on. Love ya ~ Indy and Lucy
Looks great–fun to mix and change out (was going to say match, but that does not seem to be necessary)-I stack, but not quite to the extent of a cuff–tough to wear cuffs and that many bracelets at works, so I have to wear my thicker bracelet combos when they don’t interfere–that thing call work, causing issues again!!!!

Mom prefers three or four. She is a super fan of the 1.5 inch cuffs though. Gotta save.

I think the idea is great and I love the look on someone else. I find the stack very uncomfortable. However, I do love wearing many chains together.. Love the Scottie Mom and Indy & Lucy ones.

You don’t have to stack; singles are fine.

Wow, this is something I didn’t know about but will be checking out the website. I have several of the Alex & Ani bangles that I wear and enjoy, especially the Scottie one, and I find stacking them very comfortable . I’m not sure if I could wear so many thicker types, but I do like the look on others. The last picture with the Scottie charm and L-O-V-E cut out on another bracelet are my favorites!

Those are all wonderful! Mama went to the website, but never found out what happened on Oprah that was such a disaster. She would like her friend Susan Fowler to get some good national exposure in mags like those.

She has humiliated by a panel of so called etiquette experts shaming her for regifting.

On the website look for the subheadings – click on ‘About’ – you will see ‘Jill’s Story’ and ‘The Story of Rustic Cuff’ – click on this one and you read all about the Oprah show. It doesn’t seem as if Oprah ever apologized to her and I think that is shameful.

Thanks! I think Mama has read that Oprah is fond of referring to herself in the third person.

Mama went to the store, but they no longer carry the line. Salespeople said ordering from website best option.

I order from the site. The stores in Tulsa often have lines waiting to get in. For custom, I call customer service. Right now, the winter line is winding down awaiting the new spring one coming in a couple of weeks.

They are beautiful. Our momma has a nickel allergy, so most jewelry is off limits to her. She can only wear thin, loose things or she gets a rash.

Mom is not a bracelet girl but loves the look on others. There are several here that are eye catchers. She likes the same colors too. Nice! She is known to have put bracelets on stuffy’s to give them some character. Better them than us.

We had not heard of these bracelets before. They sure are pretty! We’d say your Mum sure has a theme going on hers! We wonder why?
We love all the color combos too!
Thank you for letting our Mum get tempted!
Mum tried to read up on what the “horrible experience on OPRAH” was by clicking on the URL your Mum provided, but didn’t find the explanation. What happened?
Our Mum subscribed to the newsletter.
