Meringue Cottage sat overlooking the trees and in the distance the lake was visible. It had a wooden deck right at tree branch level which gave us an ideal vantage point for squirrel watching and the low windows were perfect Scottie height. We had plenty to entertain us while our pawrents explored the craft fairs and the Victorian town of Eureka Springs. We went on walks every day, took a car ride to the lake, and stopped in at our old park to walk across Billy Goat Gruff Bridge. We saw an old dinosaur park that had life size replicas; it was closed but Mom told us about the time she had brought human sister there when she was little. Indy and Lucy, how fortunate you are – I would love to join you any time on your adventure trips. Perhaps you could just call me your “country cousin”. Lulu Belle
