Angus Manor ( Now Open Under New Management)
We always look forward to visiting with our friends, Catman, Uncle Bob, Aunt Judy, Ainsley McKenna, and Mama (although she was at a doll convention this year) as we make our way home from Door County. We also got to meet Lisa Gerstner and Happy Handsome Jack and Princess Peyton from Chicago.

We had a special mission this year. We had a portrait to deliver to Catman and Mama that was painted by Valeria Moldovan. It was a gift from Catherina Willi (Hermine), Ling Chua(Ruffles and Munchkin), and our pawrents. It is commemorative of Angus Fala’s crossing of the Rainbow Bridge.

Aunt Judy fixed a great buffet for Scotties and humans. Dining was al fresco.
It was a great summer afternoon.

Front row: Mom and me(Indy), Aunt Judy and Ainsley McKenna, Lisa and Princess P. Back row: Dad and Sister and Uncle Bob and Handsome Jack. Sister and the Princess tried to hook horns a couple of times….these women. I was content to run the fence line and patrol the territory. There was one moment when Sister did ‘the rush’ as the Princess was dining on a cookie. Catman said even he would have dropped the cookie. We called her ‘the intimidator’ after that. We elected not to stay in Peru as was our usual habit due to Peru’s close proximity to Chicago and the canine influenza outbreak. Instead we moved down the road a couple of hours to Springfield, IL.

The next day we had a long drive home. ~ Indy and Lucy
