Scottie fellowship is a cornerstone of the Door County Scottie Rally. Since the rally attendees come from all parts of the US ( people pictured below come from MN, KS ,WI, Australia, MO, IL, LA and Utah) , it is often the only time that a lot of them see each other so you know there is a lot of bonding going on. ~ Indy and Lucy
Looks like a fun time was had by all.

Lucy, I cannot remember (nothing new there!) if your mom told how this gathering first began. Ms. Judy PS You probably had to pack 2 extra suitcases to bring all the memories home, right?

Right. Rally concept was started 15 years ago by Michele Bronsky and her husband, Tom after the diagnosis of bladder cancer of their first Scottish terrier, Shayna . The first gathering in 2001 had 9 Scotties and 24 humans present. !4 years later, the rally is the largest gathering of Scotties in the USA and provides substantial support for Scottish Terrier research on health related issues and rescue organizations. I knew about the rally from the beginning but was unable to attend until I retired from teaching school.
