We are very busy around here. It keeps raining; when it is not, Mom runs to the yard to do some work. The humidity is like the tropics, Mom said, without a breeze from the ocean. Dad goes to Tulsa daily for Grand PaPa who is out of the hospital by the way. Thank you for your prayers and best wishes. I put this sign up so the bunnies would get the idea “Keep Out”.
I have been doing all I can to help.
Who is not helping?
Love, from the working girl, ~ Lucy
Such a good girl! Mama just decreed that both our morning walks must be completed no later than 7:30am. Today, we were done by 7:15! Great news about GrandPaPa!

Well, she talks out of both sides of her mouth, cause she went in the back yard, and filled up 2 lawn waste cans and pulled buckets of rotten leaves out of the waterwheel pond. DUH.

I’m glad your Grand PaPa is home. I’m sure he feels more comfortable there. And, I can’t tell you enough how your daily blog makes my day. I have 2 Irish Terriers now, but have had Scotties up until recently. I do miss having at least one Scottie, but the Irish are also full of love and antics. Enjoy your day; it’s hot and steamy here in Maryland, too, so the Irish and I don’t get much of a walk in during this weather. Sigh.

Happy dance for Grand PaPa. Your yard is looking Scottieful and we can see how much you help.

Lucy, you are such a trooper and a boone to your mom for yard assistance. It is so much easier for someone our
height to retrieve sticks and such. Good, good news about Grand PaPa being home. That’s where the heart is, you know. Lulu

You don’t know how many times Mom has said the same thing.

We are glad that your grandpa is back from the hospital. The heat is unbearable here too. A little breeze could go a long way. Try to stay cool.
