Angus Fala was one of our earliest friends on FB. In March of 2014, Angus and his family ( from IL) were visiting hooman sis who was living in Tulsa at that time. At a ‘Meet and Growl’ arranged by Gary Greenlee at Biscuit Acres Dog Park in Tulsa, we met Angus and Ainsley along with a lot of other nice people.
Front row (L to R) Vanessa Goins and one of her Westies, David Jones with Indy and Lucy, Kim Studstill (Mama) Ainsley, Angus, Rosie (Maria Batson’s girl) and Piper Truett. Back (L to R) Susan Truett holding Cagney, Paul Zardus with Bonnie, Emma Arnett with Jonesy and Gary Greenlee with Jennifer Petty’s Scottie. Missing serving as photographers: Maria Batson, Tim Goins, Catman and Trisha Jones.
On our way home from the Scottie rally a couple of months later, we stopped for the night in Peru, IL. to pay homage to Angus Fala. (L to R) David and Indy, Trisha and Lucy, Uncle Bob and Ainsley, Aunt Judy and Angus, Mama. Photographer: Catman
The host himself with his birthday pig.
Lucy watched Mama cook the hot dogs.
Local children provided entertainment by driving by on their bikes.
Uncle Bob made us these cool Scottie hat racks and Aunt Judy fixed us bags of homemade treats.
This year when we visit it will be just Ainsley here in charge of Angus Manor. Sadly Angus crossed the Bridge on Feb. 28, 2014. He is mourned by a Scottie Nation. ~ Indy and Lucy
What a lovely post 😊😊❤️❤️❤️

He sure loved that pig. I hear a rumor, and I can’t tell you who told me, that he has bought some farm land at the outskirts of the Rainbow Bridge and is planning on raising polka dot pigs.

Fantastic news, Ainsley. Brother and I are quite fond of those pigs too.

Does our Scottie nation have a flag? If so, I’m sure it was at half-mast for dearest Angus. I love your pictures and stories, L and I. XXOO Lulu Belle

This makes Mama realize once again that it’s all about friends, nurturing those friendships and extra special times like these. What great memories this photos must provoke. We thank you for sharing. Now, the Mater is off to blow her sniffer.

I love your blog and sharing times like this with all of us. What a grand time to visit at the dog park with so many FB Scottie friends. And a personal visit to the Manor, well, it can’t get any better than that. Angus is very busy getting Rainbow to his liking. ❤

Angus, from what I gather, was special with icing on top. I certainly would love to know how he required such an honored rank. Do wish I could have made his acquaintance. Ms. Judy

Through Twitter and Facebook Angus made good friends all over the world and met as many as he could personally. He had an unparalleled wit combined with a Scottie attitude . He took us on many adventures, coined phrases that are a permanent part of Scottie vocabulary, challenged our imaginations, and never failed to make us laugh.

Every word you said here I feel in my heart. I miss Angus more than life itself. His attitude was something to behold and his wit (thank you for continuing with this) were unparalleled as you so aptly put it. So glad he has brought so many of us together and still “rules” from above. Thank you Angus I can still “see” you. Pat xxxx

When Mama first “met” Angus, she was flat on her back, recovering from a wreck, learning to walk, and coming out if a daze. She awoke every am to see what Angus had to say, so she could enjoy a laugh. Pawpaw would hear her laughing, and just said “Angus Fala !”
