Our family loves to visit Arkansas, a neighboring state. Fall is a favorite time to go because of the brilliant color changes of the leaves. Before we were born, our pawrents took first Scottie Sophie camping in a beautiful state park there every year. We were not a year old when we went for the first time. Taking walks, having campfires were cool and there was something to bark about every time we looked around. We stayed in a cottage on a nearby lake last year because we couldn’t get a space at the park but more about that later. Anyway, Mom and Dad decided to sell the rv this spring so our glamping days might be over but not our visits to Arkansas. ~Indy and Lucy

When we see someone walking down our street, we bark. When we see the school bus, mail truck, UPS or FedEx go by, we bark. If we see a bunny, cat or another dog, we bark. If we see a white sack blowing in the wind a block away, we bark. Pleease don’t ring the doorbell.

My, my…..travelers. Sweet. I can only imagine the sounds and smells that delighted and sometimes alarmed you at camp. I can hear deer in the nighttime – even at 3 a.m. I get out of bed and go to my yard to tell the neighbors to hide under the covers because of lurkings about. They have never thanked me – but I know they appreciate my warnings. Love, Lulu Belle

Mom grew up in the city(NEW YORK CITY) and her idea of camping is doing without air conditioning.She admits to being spoiled. he loves her conveniences.
