Terriers world-wide, gathered this year in the enchanted place of the Whippety Wood to enjoy a friendly canine competition, racing cars.  All the WW citizens, mice, foxes, bunnies, badgers, squirrels and moles, graciously aided the terriers in engineering the most aerodynamic, earth-friendly, push cars ever.  With the blessing of Bertie Badger, the first “Wheels in the Wood” race commenced.

The entries were both daring and darling.  Piper driving her Pine Cone Coupe was first down the hill.

What terrier can resist a car made of gingerbread?   This entry was an ingenious well-engineered feat by the design team and edible too!

Our friend, Rory, looked ‘oh so handsome’ with butterfly wings.

Brother and his Dad, Mr. Silky, were Team Big Barracuda.

 Duff and I made up the Purple Passion team.

Mom loved every car especially the wheelbarrow although each one had its unique cuteness.

Decked in sunflowers, Miss Dolly captured first place.
