Although our friends to the east have snow in their forecast, we have been missed. We did not have much snow last year either so we were hoping this year’s weather pattern would bring us at least one significant snowfall. That would be about 4-6 inches. Snow..no sleet and ice! We sure enjoy it when we get it. ~ Indy and Lucy

Oh what FUN! I am almost 4 and have only see snow twice. I hope I see some dis year cuz I wanta play in it.

McDuff here: Hey, Indy and Lucy, great pix of you both romping in the snow! My toes are crossed hoping we get the snow this weekend they are predicting. After all, a winter without snow is like a party without ice-cream!

All we’d have to do is make a short trip to Flagstaff. It’s like “snow on demand” and we don’t demand it often.

We are getting ready for a storm, but Mama is not as excited. She has been making lists, but she still forgets stuff. Lucky for me dog food is her very first stop. I think we have plenty, but sometimes Mama gets this “siege mentality” where I am concerned…..

We don’t have sidewalks on our street. Our neighbors gave us a bag of ice melt and we have a snow shovel. Mama parked at the front of the driveway. She hopes we don’t have to go anywhere any time soon.

Lucy – Indy …..not to dismay; not to worry. ALL of FEBRUARY awaits and it can be a tahroooooo delight. Paws crossed – dances danced- wishes wished for Oklahoma snow where you are. BTW – Mama agrees that 4″ to 6″ is good. She likes much more but will settle for that. xxxooo Andy, Lulu Belle and Ellie

We LOVE the snow! Me n Andy could stay out all day and play in it if Mom would let us. Right now we have about 6 inches on the ground. A fresh layer of powder came on Tuesday. Yay!

Aw shucks, Indy and Lucy! We was hopin’ and a prayin’ dat you would already have had some snow by now! Mum says dat she doesn’t eben have to look at da weather report to know dat on da East Coast it must be VERY Cold now cuz when it gets hot here in So CAL it is Cold back EAST, and Vicey-versey! Needless to say, we’ve gotten warmer and warmer the past 3 days and today it is hot in inland Orange County, CA–ugh, Ugh, UGH! It’s just NOT right being HOT in Winter. Mum is sick of it! She needs to experience cold soon before she kicks da bucket she says! Our Los Angeles Times paper today said dat 2016 will be even hotter dan 2014 and 2015! The article sez that 3 years higher ea year is UNPRECEDENTED! Mum sez she’s gonna run away from home! (We hopes she takes us wit her, cuz we like da way your pictures of playing in da snow look!) We’ve nebber been in da snow! Good Luck getting some!!
Woe is us! Mum’s not happy when it is HOT! She likes nature to act “Normal” —–whatever dat is.

I remember our first Scottie in NYC. When it snowed, she loved to jump in the snow piles.I can’t say that I had the same feelings for snow. It made everything difficult and I don’t miss it.
