inIt was fun seeing Michael Seiner, Nikko and Jolie yesterday. Mom always thinks we are small till she sees them again.
Nikko is smaller than I am, probably Sister’s size, but Jolie (Peanut) is super tiny.
We had some good times sitting on the porch, temps in the 80s with a light breeze, a perfect kind of day. They brought us some presents. Mom let me have it after they left.

inMom has ordered her seeds for next year. The largest city of any size is 60 miles away so she ordered the seeds online with a company she has previously used.
There are 4 colors of morning glories and one moonflower. Grandpa Ott came up this year from last year’s seeds. It is gorgeous.
She has planted the Heavenly Blue for several years.
Real Life:
She always spreads Moonflowers in with the morning glories. They bloom at night. Real Life:
She is going to add two new ones this year: Crimson Rambler and Scarlet O’Hara. See the picture at top. All you need for glories is a trellis or a fence because they are climbers. They also like a lot of sun. She does soak the seeds overnight before she plants them to help them on their way. For now, they will go into the icebox and wait for spring.
Don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers. ~ Indy and Lucy

inIt has been another week of blazing temps. The raccoons, cats and squirrels just ignore our slavos…too hot to taunt us.
The Olympics have provided us with much inside entertainment however.
Mom found another app with some interesting features including the ability to switch the fore and backgrounds.
With my help, Dad operated on several casualties of the toy wars.
We are glad to report all recovered.
Have a splendid weekend out there. Love ya. ~ Indy and Lucy

I assisted the surgeon in the operating room.
Sadly, Woody is still waiting for a voice box. ~ From the hospital casualty department Nurse Lucy reporting.

inPIP Camera is described as a partner for selfies. It has many effects for pictures not only self snapshots; you know those are difficult for us because of the thumb thing. Here is picture one: a simple framed shot.
We were not too impressed until Mom discovered that both the main pic and the background can be changed.
Now we’re barking.
There are a lot of different designs; we are just using the Classic mode of the app.
The same picture with a background color adjustment and different design
Mom’s fave. Check it out if you have some time; picture play is always fun. ~ Indy and Lucy

inOur week has been a busy one. We had a short visit from our Sissy. She is changing jobs and moving to Denver. She will still be in ER but a Trauma 1 hospital.
Notice I am checking out the chips on the counter. BOL.
I love to look out the window. Mom lowers the recliner in an attempt to avoid accidents. 🙂
Dad made another whirlygig. The Scottie is stationary on this one. Mom is going to paint the Scottie.
The opening ceremony of the Olympics was impressive. We are ready to cheer the nations on.
We want to give a thank you to Abby Gardner and her folks for sending us these cool bandanas from Michigan.
Flowers are looking great even though the temps have been 109 F most of the week.
We still manage to get some outside play time in the early am.
Have a great weekend. ~ Indy and Lucy
