We loaded the Scottmobile and headed north.

The first day is always a long hard drive.

Sister makes faces at me while we drive down the road.  I hope Mom catches her.

People love seeing us and say in high voices: “Oh look, Scottie dogs.”

We always  need to rest up after a long drive even though we sleep most of the time.

We love October; we usually take a trip somewhere during the fall.  Remember last year when we went to the balloon festival in Albuquerque

We are going leaf peeping again so be sure to tune in and check it out. Meanwhile Mom tried to photo shoot us yesterday but someone was not very cooperative.

The heat has finally left us.  We are having cool mornings and mild afternoons; it is FALL.  Dad had a list of chores this week and ; of course, I supervised.

We got a fantastic box of chews in the mail from our friends in Australia.

Dad bought Mom a huge pumpkin.

It is almost time for our annual St. Louis Scottish Terrier Auction.  We mark this on our calendar every year; it’s a tradition.  Already things are being listed but you can’t bid till November 4th.  Let me tell you:  Mom has been loving the treat jars.  There will be tons of stuff; we will post some items later like we did last year.

Mom took pictures of me yesterday.  She said she wasn’t waiting on fall any longer.  PrettiestPets on Etsy made my tutu.  It has pumpkins on it.

I am a very cooperative model according to Mom.

Sometimes I get distracted.

Occasionally bored with the many shots Mom takes.

All in all, it just takes around 30 minutes.

We lost our pal Guinness this week to Cushings, an endocrine disorder which usually strikes older dogs.  RIP, pretty brindle boy.

Munchkin, one of our friends in Australia, introduced us to her favorite treat.   5 stars, for sure!  Mom has promised to get us some more.

I relaxed under the air conditioner all week because the heat index was 105.  No way, I was going out.
