We loaded the Scottmobile and headed north.
The first day is always a long hard drive.
Sister makes faces at me while we drive down the road. I hope Mom catches her.
People love seeing us and say in high voices: “Oh look, Scottie dogs.”
We always need to rest up after a long drive even though we sleep most of the time.

You two remind me of my own children when we went on a road trip – “Mom, Bill touched me” – “well, Kelli hit me” – I’d have to threaten, but before long Kelli fell asleep and Bill hopped in the front seat with me and all was well for a few hours. Can’t wait to see the fall colors wherever your destination is. OK, be good kids❣
