We lost our pal Guinness this week to Cushings, an endocrine disorder which usually strikes older dogs. RIP, pretty brindle boy.
Munchkin, one of our friends in Australia, introduced us to her favorite treat. 5 stars, for sure! Mom has promised to get us some more.
I relaxed under the air conditioner all week because the heat index was 105. No way, I was going out.
Mom played with Prisma, of course.
That’s about it…we have elderly parents, you know. ~ Lucy #haveasplendidsaturday
it’s so sad that your friend had to go to that bridge… it’s still hot here too, I wonder why summer will not move … it is weird to see the colored leaves while having this heat :o)

Ours are turning yellow and dropping off for lack of moisture. It is supposed to rain sometime this weekend.

Have a great weekend everybody!

I am so sorry about your dear friend, Guinness. I am glad to hear you have a new treat that you really like. Will you please ask mom to give me the name so I can get some for my friend’s pooch, Stella. Love your upside down smile. Lastly, are your parents really “elderly”?? Hope you get rain soon🌴🌴

Mum left us at home with a sitter and went off to the Kruger National Park from Tuesday until Friday……pftttt !! She had a good time and saw lots of wild animals, but the Park is very very dry and the poor animals are suffering with very little grazing for the grazers. Please put your paws together to pray for rain for the animals. There is still a little food for the browsers like the giraffes and elephants. Did you know that the collective noun for a group of giraffes is called a Tower of Giraffes and for a group of zebra it is called a Dazzle of Zebras?

We had someone who looked after us. She loves us very much and comes to help us in the mornings on weekdays. She stayed in to look after us and make sure we also got our afternoon and last treats in the days. Still we were very happy to see our mum !!
We also know it as a Journey of Giraffes in S.Africa

Sorry to hear about your friend. There are too many trips on the bridge this year. Don’t let your parents speak of themselves as elderly. You are only as old as you feel. That has been my credo forever.
