We agree, Indy! Like how much fun it is to have a Scottie who brings sunshine to our lives and whose love and devotion fills our grateful hearts! 💘

Sweet Darling Indy, I want to give you a big Kisss and a HUG, even if you are wet! Those eyes of yours SEND me! Besides, with109 temps here, you would cool me off!
I think you are the cutest ever, Indy and Lucy! Hope your temps are down, and it is cooler for you!
Love,

It’s 95 but heat index is 102. Is your 109 a dry heat?

Yes, it was very dry over these past 4 days that we had over 100 degrees in temps, but now it is in the mid 90’s and has gotten rather humid–more humid than we should be here in this desert area of So. CA! Not as humid as the American South, but it does make it feel hotter than 95 degrees like you said about where you live. I read in the paper today that over 30 million trees in our mountain area forests of all of CA have died, mostly in the Southern part of CA due to drought, the Bark Beetle infestation, and mounting intense heat since 2013. There are millions more that are dying. They are just kindling waiting to ignite, as surely they ARE igniting all around us lately!

Dry heat means that you are in an oven. I remember being in Las Vegas and being total that the heat was a dry heat. I spent the whole time drinking water. I couldn’t quench my thirst. In Florida, we have wet heat. That means that your clothing is drenched.
