Installment Two…..
This is our cottage in Fish Creek, WI behind the Blue Horse Café.
This is our breakfast view from the café.
We always spend the first day visiting favorite spots, taking pictures, that sort of thing…
Our first stop is Pet Expressions, the ultimate in pet accessories and gifts. Believe us, Mom would have been here yesterday on the way in except for the two hour mishap. Verna has the store stocked with the ‘best in Scottie’. She donates 10% of her Scottie sales to the Door County Scottie Rally as well as individual items to the rally auction. “Thanks, Verna.”
The shop is pet friendly but we like to bench sit in the shade with Dad because it usually takes awhile.
We checked out Egg Harbor next.
Stopping for pictures along the way, we did an island tour.
Hope you are enjoying our adventure. Much more to come. ~ Indy and Lucy
that’s a wonderful place… I would sit on a bench too while mom is in a store… that mostly needs just a moment what means 87 hours :o) have you seen that place called “deaths door” too? is it a spook house?

Yes, we have seen it; it is not a spook house but a passage of water with dangerous currents. Many early shipwrecks occurred there.

WOW. How beautiful. I would love to just wander around there. No wonder Lucy, you and Indy love to sit on the bench with paw and just admire the view. Yay, so glad more photies to come. Paw must spend all day brushing you two out. You always look immaculate.

It’s a place where admiring the view is a pastime. Not really, but thanks.

Shouldn’t the arrows pointing to “Death’s Door” and Wahington DC be pointing in the same direction?

Installment No. 2 doesn’t disappoint! Fabulous photos, perfect weather & getting to visit with old friends. You’re all so lucky to go to Door Country, it’s the only way we can ‘see it’ since we live too far away! A+ on your reporting, Indy & Lucy!

Best part of your Door county visit is your stop at Ainsley Institute on your way back. That’s my opinion anyway. Thanks for stopping by again!

Thank you so much Ind uh and Lucy. I love chatting with your Mom! I would have liked to have seen you both — to spoil you with our treats and to just give you hugs. Hopefully next time in October. I hope your Mom loves all of her treasures from us!

It looks so beautiful there. I’m impressed with the untangled leashes. Within two steps, the older two have the leases all tied together.
