The Queen of England turned 90. The Earth had a special day. What a week! Ours started off stormy with 5 inches of rain falling in two days.
Bathroom time was a brisk affair.
From our place on the porch, we could see the cardinal mom and dad feed their babies.

maybe even the sky would applaude HRM with some booms&bangs to celebrate her birthday?

It was lovely to watch the Queen celebrating her 90th Birthday. What and achievement and she looks so well as does Prince Phillip……amazing. Aren’t you just lucky to have the heavens open and give you some lovely rain. Indy you are a wise young ‘bird’ hope Lucy knows this. Have a great weekend.

Yes, it was a busy week!
Wish we had a nest of cardinal birds to watch! They are my peep’s favorite bird, she puts them on our Xmas tree, fake ones, of course! They really look pretty in winter when they sit on snow covered branches! Nature is wonderful, isn’t it?

It is. This is the first year they have been so close to the house.

I’m stumped. Who is older, the earth or the queen?

To your question, I’ll say this much. Between Queen Elizabeth and her pocketbook that is ALWAYS firmly in her grasp it would be hard to guess! I wouldn’t be surprised if American Express didn’t base their ‘Don’t leave home without it.’ slogan on her.

Yes, what a week it was. So happy to see the Queen & Prince Philip looking so well on her milestone birthday. No rain here, but that’s nothing new. How lucky you are to be able to watch the Cardinal family.

We sure wish we had Cardinals here…specially mum! She loves birds! What are we saying…she LOVES ALL animals!
No rain here! We are just grateful that we are no longer having 92 degree weather, and that mum is not complaining about how hot it is! For some miraculous reason it cooled off and is in the high 70’s during the day inland!! Mum has really been praying that it stays cool!
Good ol’ Queen Liz! God Bless Her! “God save the Queen!”
You sure are adorable with your bright, wide, red collar and pose with one paw on that blue ball, Indy!! What a Beautifully PERFECT picture that is of you, Indy!! You should seriously enter it in a contest and put it on a calendar page!! You are one gorgeous Hunk of Scottiness! I give it a First Place Ribbon!!
Have a great weekend!
Love and licky kisses,

We are glad that the rain has stopped. We know that it makes it hard to have proper bathroom breaks. It does bring beautiful flowers and trees. Enjoy nature.

We are glad we don’t have Florida frogs though.

The bufos are definitely scary. The tree frogs aren’t bad.
