We had one big storm last night. It interrupted SURVIVOR…dish down. The wind was blowing; rain was so fierce that you could not see; lightening lit up the sky and then there was….you guessed it: THUNDER. At the first clap which was directly over our head, I ran straight for Mom’s lap and she held me tight. I panted and shook a little but I’m not as nervous as some pups. I don’t like it though.
Big front “blew” through and dropped the temps 20 degrees from yesterday. Anyway, Mom has been cleaning out her closet and has Dad building some roll out shelving. Our new chair was delivered; I overheard Mom say something about Scottie proof fabric. What else? Hmmm. How do you like my Easter dress. ~ Lucy
Oh, Lucy, you poor thing. Thank goodness for Mom’s lap! We’ve done the same thing a time or two! Storms can be so scary! 😓
We LOVE your Easter dress! My peep was singing ‘A pretty girl is like a melody…’ and who is Irving Berlin anyway? We’re curious, is that a string of pearls you have on in the 1st picture?

Thank you. Yes, it is. I can be a real girlie girl when I want. Dog pearls. 🙂 Not Mom’s pearls.

DUFF: “I was terrified here. Thought the house windows were going to break. Dad got pretty bad damage to his car. Yard is a mess, front and back. I kept Mom up most of the night. I wore my Thunder shirt but I was still afraid. Glad ya’ll are ok. I love your tu-tu, Ms. Lucy. Please wear one when you come to visit….maybe with a matching muzzle.”

Car damage? Dad hasn’t looked yet. We hope not. Glad you are ok too.

dish down is the worst thing ever… I wonder why it always happens when we watch something we love… that storms have a weird timing…

We still caught the end so we know who went home. 🙂

you a thunder scaredy scottie? I know who is not. Me. But I know who was also scared? Angus. Turned from big tough Scottie to a little mama’s baby. Maybe ball-obsessed Scotties are more prone to be scared of thunder. I heard rain and storms here a little after 500 a.m. But don’t know if they were bad. If they were here earlier in the night, I slept through it! My Little Man wasn’t afraid of storms, but I understand it can be terrifying for some Babies! I’m so glad Mom’s lap was handy and willing! And, I love your Easter dress!! You light up the room, Sweet Lucy! Smooches to you and your Sweet Brother!! 💋💋💋💋💋!!!

We didn’t have thunder, but there’s a foot of heavy, wet snow in our yard. Mom and Dad had to shovel four times to encourage us to go out to do our business! We still weren’t too enthused about it, though. We spread out blankets in the basement and had a reading party, so we got lots of attention. 🙂

Don’t give away anything about Survivor. We record it and then watch them all in one day-it’s better that way.

Your Easter dress is lovely. We had the same storm as you but it didn’t last long. Mom kept me in my thunder shift all night, though. The sun was out today, but it was terribly cold and windy.
