We know about that. Fall starts around the last week in October here in Arizona. Some idiots from elsewhere planted deciduous trees native to where they came from. Those trees are so confused that they start turning color around the middle of January.

Indy and Lucy – It is SO hot here and tomorrow we’re promised 93 as the high. Mama gets soooooo indignant. (It’s her age….). Anyhow, my baby sister, big brother and I just snooze under the ceiling fan and, occasionally, gaze out the window. A relaxed life. XXOO Lulu Belle

It isn’t fall until my Peep takes the A.C.’s out of the windows. She’s never happy. They go in on the first few hot days of June and she cannot wait to take them out in late September, if not sooner! Her rule is you can’t be decorating for fall and Halloween and have pumpkins and mums on the front porch if the A.C.’s are still in!

Yeah, Mum is right up der with yours, Lulu Belle, (daisydoya). She HATES hot weather ‘specially ‘cuz we never have anything but! If our temps fall to 80 by some miracle, that’s supposed to be cold around deez parts! We run our AC all year long. Mum wants to move somewhere it’s cooler. She says she’s gonna run away from home, (and take us with her, ‘course!)
Thanksgiving Day is usually burning hot outside so when she roasts the turkey, when the heat of da oven and da cold of da AC meet she hopes one day dat will create snow flurries inside. That’d be the only snow around here ever, dat’s fer shur!
Indy and Lucy, you don’t needs to encourage mum to kiss us, dat’s ALL she eber dus! Sheesh!
