My heart has been sad this week with the Rainbow Bridge crossing of my brother, Duffy.
He was my brother from another mother; so to speak, but we are both Silky’s boys from Shady Nook Scotties. Duff lived in Mississippi with his mom, Claudia Grace and Stella and Popstar.
We look just alike. You can tell it in our eyes that we share a common bond.
He was taken from us by this terrible disease in spite of everything medicine could do. He was not yet 5, just a wee lad. A Scottie Nation mourns.

Not even FIVE? At least Kyla was 12½ when she left us in December. We wonder how Kyla managed to avoid this malady-she had everything else.

Any idea who Duffy’s mom was-from the date, he was not in Skye’s litter-Skye was a year before him-just wondering lineage and if this is hereditary?

No I don’t. Cocker spaniels were mentioned as predispositioned to it. However, when most of the time they are enable to trace it to a primary source, how can it be genetic?

That was such aclovely tributes beautiful pictures and so very very sad about the disease and that he was only 5 he’d hardly lived bless you Duffy and all you related family 💔

Lovely tribute to a much missed, much loved Scottie boy, losing another Scottie is always a sad day. Some just seem to have been attached to our hearts Duff was one of those that touched so many. Yes the Scottie Nation mourns the loss of sweet Duffy

So sad to lose a Scotty. Just picture him meeting the rest of the Scotty Nation gone on before at the end of the rainbow bridge. What fun they are having today playing together until we see them again.
