Clive, Iowa is the halfway mark between home and Door County on this particular route. We stay at the LaQuinta because it is pet friendly and right off the highway. We saw a little Pom, a poodle, a black kitty, and a couple of Labradoodles. Mom said they needed to use their inside voices. We also got to practice our elevator manners. Here we are waiting for people to exit before we get on.
We also finally got to meet one of our good Facebook friends, Susan Nass and her personal photographer (her husband). ~ Indy and Lucy
Have a safe trip 😊😊❤

Elevators are another bane to Sidney’s existence. He is terrified of them. My daughter lives in a building with one and he digs into the ground and refuses to enter. Stay safe and have a great trip.

So you’re half-way there – but, then this morning you’re more than half-way, I’ll bet. Keep up your good spirits and enjoy treats at your stopping points. (You do get treats when you stop for potty breaks, etc, don’t you?) Lulu Belle

Mom feeds diminished rations for long stretches of riding. Don’t want us to get car sick.

Smart move. Maybe you’ll get oh-so-many treats after you arrive. My paws are crossed. Love, Lulu Belle
