Week in Review

It happened yesterday…

With our help. Dad took down the tree.

The computer doctor called and said the hard drive was ‘failing miserably’.  So we are headed here today to get a new one.  He thought there was just enough of a glimmer to transfer it.  So Mom said ok and will look at a new tower later when it’s not after Christmas and before taxes.  Know what we mean?  Keep your paws crossed.

Meanwhile she found some toys under the couch while she was cleaning.  It’s Christmas all over again.  Have a happy Saturday. ~ Indy and Lucy

Progress

The computer is at the doctor having tests run; we should have a diagnosis soon.  Dad’s toes are still the same; we know the diagnosis there. Meanwhile Mom got some new glasses

Days of our Lives

Mom couldn’t locate the computer doctor yesterday.  We still don’t know if we need to shop or not.  On the other paw, Mom is working on getting things back to normal and Dad went to the people doctor yesterday.  When he was in the army stationed in Alaska, his toes were frostbitten.  Now with cold weather, because of the nerve damage, the ends of the toes swell.  It is very painful.  We were left to our own devices.  ~ Indy and Lucy

OH NO!

Mom’s desktop tower crashed.  She doesn’t think it’s minor either; it has been doing strange things for a couple of weeks.  I heard her tell Dad that a desktop in  Oklahoma does well to last three years because of all the lightning.  She will have it looked over and get a verdict.  Meanwhile we have the two Is and a laptop so we can still be in touch.

Christmas trees are almost put away for another year as well as other holiday décor( just in time for Twelfth Night). Mom didn’t want that to be a strike against our black eyed peas we had on New Year’s Day.   We did have a lovely holiday season plus 4th birthday and want to thank you again for the cards, gifts and well wishes. ~ Indy and Lucy

Welcome 2016

Hope everyone had a nice New Year’s Eve.  Do you eat black eyed peas for luck where you live?  We do.  Everyone can use a little luck from time to time.  Did you make any NY Resolutions?  No one around our house did either.  Maybe there is still time.

Did everyone have fun with SuperPhoto?  Mom loves it.  It does work better with some pictures as opposed to others.  We give it a Paw of Approval.

I was a little upset by something I overheard yesterday.  You know at our house, the first of the month is weigh-in day.  Mom writes it down.  Brother came in at 21 which is a pound up from his usual weight.  Then I heard the following.  Dad: “Yes, I don’t believe it either.  I weighed her twice.  It’s 18.4.”  Well, I want you to know I am offended by that remark.  Believe it or not; I still have my puppish figure.  Speaking of which, something exciting will happen tomorrow.  I’M GOING TO BE FOUR.  Love you guys. ~ Lucy

Mom loves photo apps.  Yesterday, Stella Starlight’s human Sis used a photo app called SuperPhoto on one of her pictures.
