Mother’s Day, thunderstorms, to do lists….that’s been our week. The main event on the agenda is our road trip to Door County. We are packing up.

Next time you see us, we will be reporting from the road. Till then, take care. XO ~ Indy and Lucy

Of course last weekend was all about Texas. We met Scottie friends, Mark and Wendy from Australia, Sus Peterson and family from Houston and DD and Diane Lewis from Plano as well as Scotties Duff, Frankie and Billy. We had a wonderful time at Diane’s fabulous dinner party and seeing the sights.
The rest of the week was not as exciting. Watching Mom unpack, wash clothes and Dad catch up the yard work, our Scottie life returned to normal.
Naturally, that included playing fetch. Happy Weekend, everybody. ~ Indy and Lucy

It has been an eventful week. I got in some playtime before the storms began.

Then I had to stay tuned to the weather for what the forecasters called a PDS, Potentially Dangerous Situation, that never happened. We did get a lot of rain though.

A bug crawled in Sister’s ear and made her miserable….us too. She had to see Dr. Pokey.

Then we drove to Texas.

We were exhausted. More to come. ~ Indy and Lucy

The Queen of England turned 90. The Earth had a special day. What a week! Ours started off stormy with 5 inches of rain falling in two days.

Bathroom time was a brisk affair.

From our place on the porch, we could see the cardinal mom and dad feed their babies.

Mom has been having problems with her sciatic nerve and hasn’t been able to do photographs. We are doing some ‘oldies but goodies’ on our FB page: The Adventures of Indy and Lucy. Hopefully she will be better soon. Love ya, ~ Indy and Lucy

Mom worked in the yard all week: transplanting, weeding, trimming…the usual garden chores. Spring shrubs and ground covers are blooming now. The Knockout roses are just that.
We received our new collars from Rustic Cuff: Rustic Ruff. Mom got her retablo too.
We got in a lot of play time. We loved that.
Watch Out!

We had a great Easter weekend: train rides, birthdays and toys.

BOL. Did ya check out the eyes in that one? Spring in Oklahoma brings storms and severe weather. We had some of that too. There’s no reason not to be stylish about it though.

Naturally a game of fetch was in order….no matter the weather. Well, except thunder, maybe.

Have a super weekend, you guys. ~ Indy and Lucy

The week began with St. Paddy Day and the anniversary of our one year as bloggers, March 17, 2015 being our first one. We can celebrate for two reasons from now on.

It has been a beautiful spring week. We guess that is due to our mild winter. Here are the beauties of Mother Nature in our yard and neighborhood this week.

This is a hawthorne tree. Ours has gorgeous deep pink flowers. The best thing though is songbirds love it for its bright -colored berries in the fall and winter.

The forsythia is probably Mom’s favorite. It’s a happy bush, she says. Anyway, everything is beautiful. ~ Indy and Lucy

Nothing much has been happening this week except rain, rain and more rain. Sister helped a bit in the yard before the skies opened up.

Mom rotated the toys this week. She does that periodically. We are not very rough with ours so with the exception of a few rubber ones and an occasional squeaker, toys remain intact. It’s like we have an endless supply of new toys. Rainy weeks are good for this. Rotation has to be done when Sister is not here. Well, you know how she is with toys. I helped supervise the rotation. Mom let me pick my favorite.

Sister was so glad to see one of her faves back again: Diet Poopsie. It’s not one of Mom’s favorites because it is just the right size to roll under a chair. You know what happens next.

Yes, the little diva barks until Mom gets it.

Regardless, when in doubt, rotate. ~ Indy
