Never, ever forget. Lives of thousands of innocent people lost, lives of countless others changed forever, as well as all our lives and how we do things changed forever. I live in CT. It was a most spectacular morning: Perfect temperature, no humidity, with a beautiful deep blue cloudless sky. From where I was, about 50 miles away, we could see the cloud of smoke in the distance, marring what had started out as perfect sky on a beautiful day.

Even though it has been 15 years since our world as we knew it changed, the horror, devastation and shock is as painful today as it was then. While we must never forget, we pray for those whose lives were forever changed and hope their hearts and spirits can heal at last.

As a native New Yorker, this photo was the most devastating of all that I have seen. I can’t image flying into New York and not seeing the towers. I haven’t been back in years.

Never, ever, ever will forget. Here in Pretoria South Africa I remember exactly what I was doing at that moment. I was in the car on my way to buy seed for the garden birds and I remember I was in utter disbelief at what I was hearing on the radio. They were relaying it as it was unfolding. I even remember exactly where I was in my journey it is so imprinted in my mind. I rushed hom to tell my late dad and to switch over to CNN in the TV. No, nobody will ever forget and I remember that day on the calendar each and every 9/11. I watched the TV broadcast yesterday on Sky International. xxxxx

Powerful photo. Mama was in Sienna, Italy with two friends. They cried when they got back to States. Of course Mama doesn’t cry, but her friends do. It was pretty emotional when the plane landed at Dulles. They ate cheeseburgers and fries during their layover time. No knives allowed in airport restaurants. Then back to Greensboro and the friends cried some more. Mama kept doling out tissues. I think PawPaw was emotional when Mama got home. She says Noah didn’t leave her side for several days, and slept really close to her at night for quite some time. When they went back to their jobs, the staff gathered and applauded. Such a roller coaster time.
