Hot that’s what! Right now it is 10:30 am and it is already 101. Mom has to get up early and water. I, of course, assist.
Brother has been obsessed with something under our porch. Dad thinks it’s birds; Mom says it’s lizards. Who knows but all he does is run around trying to look through the spaces between the boards. BOL.
The summer stuff is blooming in the garden. Crepe myrtles can withstand the Oklahoma extreme summer temps.
Did you try our new app Color Pop or chase some bubbles this week?
Think we will just sit and swing then head on in for some AC. Have a splendid weekend. ~ Indy and Lucy
I agree it is tooooo hot … it’s great that your flowers look still fabulous… our look like something you can smoke in a pipe lol :o)

101 degrees? Good gravy, that is roasting. Maybe your mom will put the sprinkler on for you two – that should cool you down. We wish Indy would give up on the creature under the porch, his head between the posts is making us nervous!
Stay cool!

We’ve had an A/C heavy week with weather just like yours here in Nebraska. Stay cool!

I can sympathize with your heat .. my a/c is freezing up on the hottest day of the year in Huntington Beach – it’s 84 inside my house @ 11:20 am. Repairman can’t come over until sometime next week❗️ I thought Sophie was going to die yesterday so I boarded her at her vet’s office until a/c is working. I am so thankful you two pups & tour staff have a/c at 101+‼️ Keep calm and stay cool. Remember to drink lots of water❣

Oh no. You might check into a hotel yourself. 😊

It’s time to drop the top on the Scottiemobile. It’s only 102 and it’s before noon. A month ago it hit 120, so it appears that a cold front came through.

Mama carries me over to grass she knows I am allowed to walk on…carries me! Humiliating. We take our morning walks before 8am. Mama waters the deck plants, but she can’t get to a lot of our yard, so we do lots of rain dancing….there’s a sight. Not. I just got cleared to visit a friend in a Nursing Home…this might be a new chapter in my life…Skyler Braveheart, Official Visiting Dog!

Bravo, Skyler, that you’ve been approved to visit a Nursing Home. They obviously recognize your obedience, temperament and, of course, your brave and gentle heart. 💜
We hope you do become an Official Visiting Dog, you would be pawsome!

That is totally cool, Skylar. You must be better behaved than us.

It is very hot here as early as where you live, too! The temps just continue to go higher after 10:00am. We have a new fire about 100 miles northwest of us in Tujunga. The whole sky above us got gray with smoke yesterday afternoon! The fire has spread to 3300 acres last I heard, and those poor firefighters have it nowhere near contained.
I love Crepe Myrtle–It certainly does well in heat. It did well in Texas too.
Love the little, is it a potting shed(?), with the swing!
Stay cool, Indy and Lucy. Don’t do too much bubble chasing, Lucy; and Indy, da critters under your porch are probably just trying to stay cool!
