It has been a busy week.  We had a couple of rounds of storms that soaked us with 3 1/4 inches of rain but rain is always welcome during an Oklahoma summer.  The crepe myrtle loves the hot humid weather.

The black eyed Susans do too.

The Virginia Creeper has almost covered the arch.  While a somewhat invasive plant if not contained, it turns beautiful colors in the fall.

Dad built stands for our rain barrels.  They are all currently full from the latest storms.

We also have kitties next door in the nature preserve.  We spotted them a day or two ago.  The Mom likes to take them out for lessons in hunting, tree and fence climbing during the early morning hours.

I have been giving a Facebook seminar in fetching on our page: The Adventures of Indy and Lucy.  It features the basic fetch positions: Place, Focus, Stance and Replace with tips on successful involvement with your staff.
