We apologize for the slacking of our secretarial staff in the writing of our blog. Frankly, it has been so hot that all we have done is stay inside under the air conditioner so there wasn’t much to write.

Today, though, we had a cool front and a tiny bit of rain that blew all these pine needles down. It was 70 degrees which is like 40 degrees less than it had been. Mom was so glad not to have to water the plants. It’s given everybody a new leash on life. 🙂 ~ Indy and Lucy

It’s backed off here. It’s only going to be 106 but everything is relative. 90 here is very comfortable.

Could I just reblog your blog without the part of the 70 degrees. Maybe in January it will be 70 degrees. It rained a little bit and it got hotter and muggier.

Yeah, we’re convinced dat that Patty Brown lady for sure lives by the beach!! Don’t you believes her, it’s not 70 in da rest of da state of CA! Inland, it never has gone under 90 during da day! She’s lucky to live by da beach! We did have a reprieve cuz it’s only been in da 90’s and high 80’s dis week as da top temp! Better dan 100+ like it was last week! At least da humidity is better too! Momma says she is very heat sensitive and can’t take high heat, and threatens to run away to da cold room where dey keeps veggies at Costco or to da flower frig at a florist shop! If Patty keeps telling how COOL it is where she lives, Mom might run away and move in wit her!
Poor Momma-she’s grouchie when she’s hot, but not wit us, thank dogness, only wit Dad–poor Dad!
