Here we are doing OUR job making sure that all intruders are identified ASAP and Mom is just now getting around to writing something on our blog. In her defense, she does have many appointments this week and is trying to get the basement cleaned. Of course, there is always the daily watering that has to be done shortly after dawn. Being a Scottie Mom ain’t easy or so she says. Well, she didn’t say ain’t but you know what we mean. Temps are going to be in the 100s and very humid this week. You both are looking good as centurions! Don’t let those rascally rabbits or squirrels in. We got a nice break in the weather today here in Nebraska. It’s a cool 75 after several days of mid to high 90’s. Stay cool and guard the castle.

You can come and cool off with us. Our temperature has only gotten to the mid 90’s. We don’t have basements in Florida. the water table is too high. Stand guard and remember that mom appreciates all that you do even if she doesn’t always remember to tell you.

You 2 are the cutest Sentry Scotties we’ve ever seen! I guess we shouldn’t say “Cutest”, since you are trying to be as tough and menacing as you can so as to scare off any intruder who would DARE trespass into your domain, or in your case, kingdom. My, oh my, but you’re so fierce-looking! We is scared, and we’re not even close by! You two sure do a paw-some job, and your Momma is so lucky to have you on her side! We hope the Queen won’t see this pic of you two being so paw-fessional as guards, ‘cuz she might enlist you to be sentries with da big furry hats in front of Buckingham Palace!

Lucy and Indy – As ever, your photo is magnificent. Mama says tell you to go easy on your mama – We are a 12-paw family and that is a lot to watch over.
