We had a grand Valentine’s Day.  Mom gave us some great toys.  You know how I love a good squeak.

We played keep away with them all day.  I was doing most of the keeping, BOL.

Not to worry…Brother kept his fair share.

Mom was telling us a story yesterday about Valentine Days of yore.  When she was in school, the teacher would have them decorate a shoe box.  Everyone would put valentines in them and on the final day the children would have a party and open the boxes.  She said it was so much fun.  Have a look at all these vintage valentines; these might have been what she found when she opened her box.  She’s vintage; you know. ♥ ~ Lucy
