We are here in Houston for Mom’s cancer check ups at MD Anderson. She had a CT scan this morning at the crack of dawn…no wait, it was still dark when we dropped her off. Two hours later the skies opened up, and it poured down rain. Mom was a little damp when we went back to get her. Dad has promised Valentine dinner for tonight but we didn’t hear our names mentioned. Anyway, Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone out there.

So glad Mama didn’t have to wait for the scan and to know she’s back at the hotel!! I had water across the road on my end of San Felipe on my to work this morning, but it can do that when it is just misting, it seems. Sweet Indy and Sweet Lucy, I will fix Valentine’s dinner for you two if you come to my place! I’m not far! 💋💋💋❤💋💋💋!!!

It was dry at 6 but when we went back to get her at 9 is when she got wet. The pick up waiting area is not fully protected and although she had her umbrella, the rain/wind was fierce then.

Paws crossed for good news ! Although that wasn’t the most fun way to begin the day, great to get it over with first thing. Duke has a Valet Parking option which is free, but some days all the lots can be full, and it’s a long hike to where you need to be.

Although Valentine’s Day was last week I am sure you would still accept a Happy Valentines from us down here in Pretoria. We see you are edging ever closer to Spring while we down here will be looking at Autumn come end of March, middle of April. Fortunately we only really have June and July which we call winter and complain about it being so cold, but come August we can see Spring on the horizon and the fruit trees being to bloom and from September on we go into Summer. Our most favourite months down here are March and April when the fierce heat and humidity start saying their good-byes until the end of the year.
