PhotoToaster, today’s app, has been on Mom’s phone for ages. She doesn’t use filters often (like never) so had never explored it until the other day. PhotoToaster has high ratings by the app community and claims to be the top photo editor for the IPhone and Ipad. The best thing about it: everything is included. There are no In-App purchases. All you do is select a picture and start applying filters. The changes can be subtle or dramatic. Let’s begin with our original picture.
This picture was taken around 11 am but with a simple filter it can be dusk. Notice the change?
See, you get an entirely different feeling. Of course, within that single filter selection you can make all kinds of adjustments as to exposure and intensity, etc. but ‘nobody’s got time for dat.’ BOL. Check out this one called Pastel.
Whoa, we might like that better than the original. Some others are named: Energetic, Vivid, Earthy, Road House, Vanity Fair, all light variations. This is a nice B&W called Silverlight.
Backlit is a neat one too. Might be our new fave. 🙂
We are giving this app a 4 Paws Up for adjusting the basics. PhotoToaster offers super simple easy edits using the pre-fab settings or options for more complicated ones. Love it. ~ Indy and Lucy

You look great without enhancements, but the filtered settings add some fun and interesting effects–have a nice weekend.

No matter what, photographed in any light, any setting, any pose, you both are just extraordinary Scotties that with your mom’s skill she captures to a ‘T’. While it must be fun to tweak pictures with the apps, we think most times you can’t improve on pawfection!

I will give it a go. Your app advice has always been excellent. I have been using Snapseed recently – I think you recommended that one too – and is excellent.

Yes,
we like Snapseed too. The filters would be fun with Rascal Dascal’s cloud formations.

That app definitely settles the question “which light do you look best in”.
Answer “every light”! Each light brings out a different element of your beauty.

Mom will have to try this. Scotties can be very difficult to see many times. She is constantly moving around us to get good lighting.
