The week began with St. Paddy Day and the anniversary of our one year as bloggers, March 17, 2015 being our first one. We can celebrate for two reasons from now on.
It has been a beautiful spring week. We guess that is due to our mild winter. Here are the beauties of Mother Nature in our yard and neighborhood this week.
This is a hawthorne tree. Ours has gorgeous deep pink flowers. The best thing though is songbirds love it for its bright -colored berries in the fall and winter.
The forsythia is probably Mom’s favorite. It’s a happy bush, she says. Anyway, everything is beautiful. ~ Indy and Lucy

The pictures of your beautiful flowering trees and garden are a visual treat indeed! I wish it were like that here on Long Island, where our temperatures are falling and it’s predicted we will have 4-to-6 inches of snow tomorrow and Monday! Sigh!
The peep is anxious to put my winter sweaters and coats away, We say, “Hurry up warm weather!”

We’ve had flowers for a while. Winter here is December and January. The citrus has been in bloom for three weeks.

We don’t have Forsythia here, but mum loves it. It doesn’t grow in our desert area. I love to look at it whenever we happen to go back East! Now we know it is in OK, too! Neat!
All of your flowering trees are gorgeous! It sure looks like we even saw the Easter Bunny duck behind one of those Spring branches!! Happy Spring to you, Indy and Lucy and Peeps! Thank you for the glorious pics!

Your trees are so beautiful. The colors are magnificent. Our fruit trees are finally in bloom. The weather has been very screwy and the trees are confused.

It got quite cool here the last couple of days. Wind has switched to the north. We didn’t have a freeze yet though. Usually the first week in April marks the last possibility of frost.
