We are home for awhile. Our next tour won’t be till September when we will be heading for Texas again. It has been a month full of fun though, hasn’t it. Since we got home from Plano, Mom and Dad have been busy in the yard mowing, cleaning out the flower beds, trimming, and that sort of thing. It is hot too….90s. Even after the weeks of rain the old clay soil is cracked. Mom says it’s a wonder anything grows around here. We got haircuts yesterday as you can see; we’ll probably have to go shorter before the summer is over. Our cousin Randy came for a visit yesterday. That’s always fun. Have a good week. You have been on a whirlwind tour! Mama and everyone in our ‘hood is cleaning up their yards….it’s going to be in the 90’s here too this week…we walk as early in the am as we can, then Mama takes her two mile walk. Instead of walking again in the afternoon, Mama throws the ball for me in Uncle Herb’s back yard. I get my ‘do with Kenzie & Darby Parks this Saturday.

There is no way to get rid of the copperheads completely. I need to keep my eyes open. I don’t let Skyler nose around in ivy or overgrown areas. It was startling for sure.

We are feeling the heat too. The temperature has been hitting the 90’s. The air conditioner runs continually and there is no relief in sight. Tell your mom that our mom is reading The Red Tent and is really enjoying it. Thanks for the recommendation.

You both look beautiful. Your groomer does a great job. I hope Mom & Dad did not have heat exhaustion from working in the yard. It’s very rare for the temp to get to 90 deg. in Huntington Beach, CA. So you stay coooool !!
